G’DAY,
Welcome to the BROTHERS FISH. You have found an independent site, dedicated to the advancement of light line, catch and release tournament Bream fishing, (as per ABT rules).
From small to high power boats, fishing on a good year we manage to get on the water about 100 days (not bad when the average boat only gets on 17 times per year).
I started the bream competitions in 2004, after a chance meeting with Spanky at a New Years Eve party, by the end of the night Steve and I were going to take on the ABT to show them how to fish, what an education that was. Over the next few years tackle and techniques have improved out of site so this is an Information guide to help newcomers.
I am lucky enough to have a fantastic crew of mates who all fish, most of us have been hit by the BREAM BUG. All of us are non sponsored, so all opinions are independent and honest (as we buy all our own tackle) over these pages you will find tips on tackle, techniques, knots and more. As often as I can I put the rod down and pick up my cameras, if you have time, check out the pictures and videos.
Spankys page is well worth the time to check out, lots of photos and links to his articles in fishing magazines.
If your thinking of having a go at Comp fishing. I hope these pages are of use to you. If not have a look anyway and maybe you will. The first time a kilo plus Bream smashes your lure, you will be hooked.
If you feel you have tips that may help others please send them in. However this site is not a whinge forum we are not interested in negative views or detremental comments.
Hope to see you on the water
Tight lines
Graham Green
